Payment and Refund Policy

Last updated: 26 October 2026

Scope of This Policy

This Payment and Refund Policy applies to all purchases of digital courses, training modules, and related professional resources offered by notixzo. These materials focus on studio production techniques including equipment setup, camera operation, lighting, sound design, and workflow optimisation for television and live broadcast environments. The policy covers transactions made through our website by customers in the United Kingdom and explains how payments are processed, when contracts are formed, and the circumstances under which refunds may be available. It does not apply to in-person training events or third-party products accessed via external links.

Prices, Currencies, Taxes and Additional Charges

All prices are displayed in British Pounds Sterling. Value Added Tax at the prevailing UK rate is included in the displayed price for consumers. No additional charges apply for standard digital delivery. If your bank or card issuer imposes foreign transaction fees, these remain your responsibility. notixzo reserves the right to adjust prices at any time, but changes do not affect orders already confirmed.

Accepted Payment Methods, Authorisation and Security

We accept major credit and debit cards processed through secure third-party gateways compliant with PCI DSS standards. Payment is authorised at the time of order placement. Your card details are never stored on our servers. Authorisation may be declined for reasons including insufficient funds or suspected fraud, in which case the order will not proceed and you will be notified immediately.

Order Confirmation and Contract Formation

Upon successful payment you will receive an email confirmation containing order details and access instructions. A binding contract is formed when we send this confirmation. Until that point, either party may cancel without liability. Digital content is made available immediately after confirmation, subject to the cancellation rules below.

Cancellation Rights and Cooling-Off Periods

Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 you normally have 14 days from the date of order confirmation to cancel. However, because our products consist of digital content, you expressly agree during checkout that delivery begins immediately and you lose the right to cancel once download or streaming access has started. If you have not yet accessed the content, you may cancel within the 14-day period by contacting us.

Refund Eligibility, Exclusions and Non-Refundable Items

Refunds are available only where the content is faulty, not as described, or where you have not accessed it and cancel within the statutory period. No refunds are given for change of mind after access has commenced, for completed viewing, or for promotional or discounted bundles once accessed. Subscriptions, if offered, may be cancelled to prevent future billing but do not entitle you to a refund for periods already used.

Procedure to Request a Refund

To request a refund, email [email protected] with your order number, full name, and a clear statement of the reason. You must include proof of purchase and, where applicable, a description of any technical issue experienced. Requests received without this information will be returned for completion.

Inspection, Approval and Notification of Decisions

We will acknowledge receipt of your request within two working days and aim to inspect and decide within fourteen days. You will be notified by email of approval or rejection together with reasons. If approved, a refund will be processed; if rejected, you may appeal once by providing further evidence.

Refund Method, Processing Time and Receipt of Funds

Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method. Processing typically takes five to ten working days after approval, although your bank may require additional time to credit your account. You will receive confirmation once the refund has been initiated.

Special Rules for Digital Content and Subscriptions

Digital courses are supplied instantly. By proceeding you waive the 14-day cancellation right once access begins. Subscription services renew automatically until cancelled. You may cancel at any time via your account dashboard to stop future payments, but no partial refunds are provided for unused portions of a billing cycle.

Failed Payments, Duplicate Charges and Chargebacks

If a payment fails, you will be notified and given the opportunity to retry. Duplicate charges will be investigated and refunded automatically where confirmed. Chargebacks are treated seriously; unjustified chargebacks may result in account suspension. Suspected fraud will be reported to the relevant authorities and payment withheld pending investigation.

Mandatory Consumer Rights

Nothing in this policy affects your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 or UK GDPR. You remain entitled to goods and services of satisfactory quality, as described, and fit for purpose. We cannot exclude these rights by contract.

Contact Route, Policy Changes and Final Provisions
